Podczas świątecznego weekendu zginęła jedna osoba
Do 21 wypadków doszło na pomorskich drogach podczas przedłużonego, świątecznego weekendu, zginęła w nich jedna osoba. Od piątku do poniedziałku nad bezpieczeństwem kierowców i pieszych czuwała zwiększona liczba policyjnych patroli. Funkcjonariusze sprawdzali przede wszystkich trzeźwość kierujących, co w naszym województwie zaowocowało wykryciem 58 takich przypadków. Do tragicznego wypadku, w którym zginął 65 latek, doszło w Gdańsku na trasie Sucharskiego – w nocy z piątku na sobotę bezdomny mężczyzna idący środkiem drogi został potrącony przez ciężarówkę. – Groźnie wyglądał też wypadek w Kościerzynie, w sobotę na ulicy Kaplicznej 5-latek wbiegł pod koła osobowego audi, nieprzytomny został śmigłowcem przetransportowany do szpitala – komentuje Joanna Skręt z Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji w Gdańsku. Dodam że w całej Polsce w ciągu czterech ostatnich dni zginęły 33 osoby, a 381 zostało rannych. W tym czasie doszło do 293 wypadków, a policjanci zatrzymali 1324 nietrzeźwych kierowców.
