Hospicjum Świętego Wawrzyńca obchodzi 30 lat działalności
30 lat działalności obchodzi Hospicjum Św. Wawrzyńca w Gdyni, jedno z najstarszych w Polsce. Najpierw obejmowało opieką dorosłych pacjentów w domach, potem zrodziła się potrzeba budowy dla nich hospicjum stacjonarnego. Gdy zaczęła rosnąć liczba małych pacjentów powstała stacjonarna „Bursztynowa Przystań” dla terminalnie chorych dzieci, jest też dla nich opieka domowa.
– To wszystko nie byłoby możliwe bez wsparcia darczyńców – mówił dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby dyrektor hospicjum św. Wawrzyńca ksiądz Grzegorz Miloch.
Hospicjum Św. Wawrzyńca wspiera m.in. samorząd miasta Gdynia, może też liczyć na mieszkańców Kaszub w kwestach – wiosennych Pól Nadziei i jesienią w święto Wszystkich Zmarłych. „Potrzeby zawsze są, jesteśmy otwarci na współpracę” – deklaruje ksiądz Miloch. Hospicjum Św. Wawrzyńca liczy też na wsparcie z 1 procent – numer KRS potrzebny w tym celu podczas rozliczania się z fiskusem opublikowano na stronie internetowej placówki.
