Hel jest w tym tygodniu mekką miłośników militariów i 2 wojny światowej – turyści tłumnie zjeżdżają na jedną z największych rekonstrukcji historycznych w Polsce.
Sprzęt i dioramy prezentowane są od poniedziałku, ale wisienka na torcie – inscenizacja lądowania na plaży Omaha jeszcze przed nami. Żołnierze Waffen SS i amerykańscy spadochroniarze na ulicach Helu nikogo już nie dziwią – w końcu to 12 edycja D-Day. D-day Hel to także masa wydarzeń towarzyszących: kino wojenne, konkurs mody z lat 40, możliwość wzięcia do ręki sprzętu z epoki.
