Harcerka z Rumi wyróżniona w ogólnopolskim plebiscycie
Za nadzwyczajne zaangażowanie w wymagającą pracę z niepełnosprawnymi – instruktorkę harcerską z Rumi Katarzynę Chudą wyróżniono w ogólnopolskim plebiscycie „Niezwyczajni”.
– Mimo że nie otrzymała tytułu, to jest to ogromne docenienie ze strony harcerskiej społeczności – mówi komendant hufca ZHP w Rumi Bogdan Formela.
Od sześciu lat organizuje go zarząd główny Związku Harcerstwa Polskiego, rumską wolontariuszkę nominowano w kategorii „Nieprzetarty Szlak”. Katarzyna Chudy od czterech lat prowadzi drużynę złożoną wyłącznie z osób niepełnosprawnych, z unikatową wśród drużyn Nieprzetartego Szlaku specjalnością wodną. Organizuje spływy kajakowe i kursy żeglarskie, co roku wyjeżdża z podopiecznymi na wakacyjny obóz. Wyróżnienie jest dla niej dodatkową motywacją do pracy. Katarzyna Chudy znalazła się w gronie 25 osób nominowanych do tytułu „Niezwyczajny”, wyłonionych przez harcerzy z całej Polski spośród ponad 170 kandydatów.
