Gortat Camp w Rumi – trenowali pod okiem gwiazd NBA
W Rumi młodzi fani koszykówki trenowali pod okiem gwiazd NBA i polskiej reprezentacji. W sobotę w hali tamtejszego MOSiR podczas 9 edycji Gortat Camp.
– Frekwencja pokazuje, że dzieci chętnie garną się do sportu, jeżeli zadbamy o atrakcyjną formę – mówi Marcin Gortat.
Już po raz drugi Marcin Gortat wybrał Rumię na jeden z przystanków w swoim tournee po Polsce. Tym razem zawodnikowi Washington Wizards towarzyszyli m.in. klubowy kolega z parkietu Garret Temple, reprezentant Polski Adam Waczyński i Przemysław Karnowski z Gonzaga Bulldogs. Pod ich okiem prze 6 godzin trenowała ponad setka dzieci w wieku od 9 do 13 lat, a nowością tegorocznej edycji były warsztaty Klinika NBA, adresowana do młodzieży od 14 do 17 roku życia. Ukoronowaniem imprezy był mecz młodych zawodników z gwiazdami NBA. Następne odsłony obozu w Łodzi i Piasecznie, a Camp zakończy się 26 lipca w Krakowie meczem Marcin Gortat Team przeciwko Wojsku Polskiemu.
