GÓRA: Podstawówka ma nową salę sportową
Nową salę sportową oddano do użytku w szkole w Górze. To ostatnia w gminie Wejherowo podstawówka, w której brakowało miejsca do organizacji zajęć sportowych. Zamiast prostych ćwiczeń na szkolnych korytarzach uczniowie będą mogli rozgrywać mecze na boisku wielofunkcyjnym wewnątrz hali, a na zewnątrz powstały też: boisko do streetball’a i kort tenisowy. Nowy obiekt pomieścił też salkę do gimnastyki korekcyjnej, przebieranie, natryski, magazyn na sprzęt sportowy, pokój trenera i nową kotłownię. Sala ma służyć uczniom uczęszczającym do podstawówki w Górze, a po lekcjach także mieszkańcom tej miejscowości i sąsiedniego Kniewa, Zamostnego i Warszkowa. To inwestycja, o którą społeczność szkolna zabiegała od kilkunastu lat – mówi dyrektor placówki w Górze Katarzyna Lessnau. Budowa hali w Górze trwała nieco ponad rok i kosztowała 2 miliony 200 tysięcy złotych. Z tego 300 tysięcy to dotacja pozyskana z Urzędu Marszałkowskiego w ramach programu rozwoju bazy sportowej w województwie pomorskim.
