Gminy z KZG „Dolina Redy i Chylonki” segregują najwięcej śmieci
Mieszkańcy północnych Kaszub segregują najwięcej śmieci. To gminy z Komunalnego Związku Gmin „Dolina Redy i Chylonki”, które są w polskiej czołówce i uzyskują najwyższe poziomy recyklingu i odzysku odpadów. Zgodnie z unijnymi normami Polska musi uzyskać w obecnym roku 14% odzysku i przygotowania do ponownego użycia papieru, metalu, tworzyw sztucznych i szkła. Gminy Związku zwiększają te normy kilkukrotnie. W gminie Kosakowo to już 42%, w Sopocie i Rumi po 36% i powyżej 20 w gminach: Szemud, Wejherowo, Redzie i Gdyni. To zasługa naszych mieszkańców – podkreśla przewodniczący zarządu Związku Tadeusz Wiśniewski. Poziomy odzysku odpadów przewidziane dla Polski będą co roku rosły, w 2020 roku będziemy musieli już uzyskać 50% odzysku papieru, metalu, tworzyw sztucznych i szkła.
