Gminy Choczewo i Wejherowo przymierzają się do wspólnej inwestycji
Gminy Choczewo i Wejherowo przymierzają się do kompleksowej modernizacji ulicznego oświetlenia – złożyły do Urzędu Marszałkowskiego wspólny wniosek o dofinansowanie tej inwestycji.
– To instalacje przestarzałe, pobierające bardzo dużo energii i wymagające kosztownej konserwacji – tłumaczy zastępca wójta gminy Wejherowo Maciej Milewski.
Zmodernizowane ma zostać niemal tysiąc lamp w gminie Wejherowo i kolejne 150 w gminie Choczewo. Szacunkowy koszt inwestycji to co najmniej pół miliona złotych. Szefowie obydwu samorządów liczą na dofinansowanie ze środków unijnych – nawet 85 procent kosztów. Modernizacja oświetlenia ma ograniczyć pobór energii o połowę. Jeżeli wniosek choczewskeigo i wejherowskiego samorządu zostanie rozpatrzony pozytywnie, prace nad modernizacją oświetlenia mają się zacząć na przełomie lat 2017-2018.
