Gmina Żukowo zabiega o nowy przystanek PKM w Barniewicach
Gmina Żukowo zabiega o nowy przystanek w Barniewicach. Miałyby się tam zatrzymywać pociągi Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej.
W Barniewicach sąsiadujących z Gdańskiem Owczarnią mamy kilkaset hektarów, które są wskazane jako inwestycyjne, a jednocześnie są niedostępne komunikacyjnie – wyjaśniał dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby burmistrz Żukowa Wojciech Kankowski. Stąd pomysł na nowy przystanek między Osową a Rębiechowem. Na nowym przystanku w Barniewicach mogliby wysiadać pracownicy firm, które tam powstaną. Gmina zadba o połączenia drogowe.
Wniosek z Żukowa trafił już do PKP Polskich Linii Kolejowych w związku z planowaną modernizacją linii kolejowej 201 z Gdyni do Kościerzyny. Rozmowy z burmistrzem Żukowa posłuchać można jeszcze na radiokaszebe.pl.
