Gmina Wejherowo wystąpiła z LGD Kaszubska Droga i PLGR
O wystąpieniu z Północnokaszubskiej Lokalnej Grupy Rybackiej i Lokalnej Grupy Działania Kaszubska Droga – zadecydowała rada gminy Wejherowo na ostatniej sesji. Powodem są rozbieżne cele i zbyt małe środki płynące do gminnej kasy.
– To także kwestia specyfiki i położenia naszej gminy – tłumaczy inspektor ds. unijnych funduszy z Urzędu Gminy Wejherowo Marcin Toczek.
Do niedawna w skład PLGR wchodziło 8 gmin, a Kaszubska Droga liczyła ich 5. Za pośrednictwem tych grup gmina Wejherowo od 2009 roku pozyskiwała dofinansowanie na inwestycje – m. in. ArtPark w Bolszewie, przystań kajakową w Orlu czy plac zabaw w Gościcinie. Jednak zbyt duża liczba chętnych do podziału unijnych środków skłoniła samorząd do rezygnacji z członkostwa. Do tego obie grupy z których gmina występuje mają wielu członków, co także przekłada się na wielkość funduszy jakie można pozyskać.
Wystąpienie z PLGR i Kaszubskiej Drogi nie oznacza, że gmina Wejherowo rezygnuje z pozyskiwania środków za pośrednictwem Lokalnej Grupy Działania. Już w czerwcu nawiązała współpracę w tej sprawie z Bursztynowym Pasażem i gminą Gniewino. Jej pierwszym efektem ma być opracowywana wspólnie lokalna strategia rozwoju. (Foto: ug.wejherowo.pl)
