GMINA WEJHEROWO: Urząd gminy zmieni siedzibę
Urząd gminy Wejherowo zmieni siedzibę – radni dali wójtowi zielone światło do negocjacji w sprawie zakupu budynku przy ulicy Transportowej.
Dzięki nowej siedzibie mieszkańcy gminy wszystkie sprawy urzędowe załatwią w jednym miejscu – obecnie większość referatów mieści się na wejherowskim osiedlu Przyjaźni, a referaty: oświaty i spraw społecznych oraz bezpieczeństwa i zarządzania kryzysowego zlokalizowane są w Bolszewie. W nowym Urzędzie Gminy miejsce znajdzie też Gminny Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej. Zyskamy więcej przestrzeni, bo budynek który nam zaoferowano ma ponad 1 tys. 400 metrów kwadratowych, co o jedną piątą przewyższa łączną sumę dzierżawionych teraz przez nas powierzchni – mówi wójt gminy Henryk Skwarło. Samorząd może go wykupić w ratach, a rezygnacja z dotychczasowych dzierżaw przyniesie rocznie 160 tysięcy złotych oszczędności – dodaje zastępca wójta gminy Wejherowo Maciej Milewski. W pierwszej kolejności do nowej siedziby ma być przeniesiony Gminny Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej – możliwe że już w przyszłym roku. Przeprowadzka referatów Urzędu Gminy potrwa dłużej i rozpocznie się najwcześniej za rok.
