Gmina Szemud chce przyłączyć się do Aglomeracji Gdańskiej
Samorządowcy z Szemuda chcą włączyć część swojej gminy do Aglomeracji Gdańskiej. Ma to rozwiązać problemy z odbiorem ścieków i dać dostęp do nowych środków na rozbudowę kanalizacji.
– W przypadku Szemuda chodzi o południową część gminy – mówi jej wójt Ryszard Kalkowski.
Obecnie do Aglomeracji Gdańskiej należą: Gdańsk, Sopot, Pruszcz Gdański, część Gdyni oraz gminy: Żukowo, Pruszcz Gdański i Kolbudy. W sumie z terenu gminy Szemud do oczyszczalni „Wschód” ma być kierowane około sześciuset metrów sześciennych ścieków na dobę. Dołączenie do Aglomeracji Gdańskiej ma umożliwić samorządowcom z Szemuda wnioskowanie o prawie 20 milionów złotych na rozbudowę kanalizacji. Decyzja o tym, czy południowa część gminy Szemud zostanie włączona do Aglomeracji Gdańskiej zapadnie pod koniec października na sesji sejmiku wojewódzkiego.
