GMINA SZEMUD: Bezpłatne przejazdy na wszystkich liniach
Rewolucja komunikacyjna w gminie Szemud. Od 1 października uruchomionych zostanie 10 nowych linii autobusowych. Głównym ich zadaniem będzie dowóz szkolny, z autobusów będą też odpłatnie mogli korzystać inni pasażerowie. Uczniowie będą korzystali z nowej komunikacji na podstawie darmowych biletów sieciowych. Oznacza to, że dzieci będą mogły przez cały tydzień – w tym w soboty i niedziele – bezpłatnie korzystać ze wszystkich autobusów PKS Wejherowo na wszystkich ich liniach, nie tylko w gminie. Zapewniona będzie obsługa opiekunek, które czuwać będą nad bezpieczeństwem dzieci. Ponadto z tych autobusów – odpłatnie za kupiony bilet u kierowcy będą mogli korzystać wszyscy mieszkańcy Gminy Szemud. W ten sposób – według szacunków urzędników – gmina korzystając z dopłat otrzymanych poprzez Urząd Marszałkowski zaoszczędzi na komunikacji 300 000 złotych w skali roku. Aby zachęcić mieszkańców do korzystania z nowej oferty – gmina wspólnie z PKS Wejherowo organizuje w najbliższy weekend akcję „Informacyjny Autobus”. Będą to próbne jazdy, podczas których za darmo będzie można zwiedzić gminę. W ich trakcie rozdawane będą rozkłady jazdy oraz cukierki dla dzieci.
