Gmina straciła unijną dotację a urzędnik – pracę. Wójt Parchowa zwolnił pracownika Urzędu Gminy, który nie dopilnował swoich obowiązków – nie dołączył do wniosku o unijne dofinansowanie wymaganych załączników.
Chodziło o pieniądze na doposażenie świetlicy w Soszycy i Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury. Gmina chciała pozyskać 166 tysięcy złotych, co miało pokryć 80% kosztów. Do wniosku nie dołączono jednak opisu projektu i wizualizacji, co poskutkowało jego odrzuceniem. Wójt Parchowa jest przekonany, że gmina otrzymałaby dotację. W Fundacji Partnerstwo Dorzecza Słupi wniosków było mniej niż funduszy – powiedział Dziennikowi Bałtyckiemu Andrzej Dołębski. Zwolniony dyscyplinarnie Mariusz Kubiak był odpowiedzialny za pozyskiwanie dotacji dla gminy Parchowo od 2009. Zapowiedział, że odda sprawę do sądu pracy w Słupsku i będzie się ubiegał o przywrócenie na etat w Urzędzie Gminy.
