Gmina Stężyca przygotowuje się do budowy ścieżek rowerowych – w sumie ma powstać 40 kilometrowy szlak.
O potrzebie jego powstania mówiło się w Stężycy już od kilku lat, teraz projekt wkracza w decydującą fazę. Gmina czeka tylko na jeden podpis i można rozpisać przetarg – mówi wójt Tomasz Brzoskowski. Bezpieczne, asfaltowe trasy dla jednośladów mają powstać wzdłuż pasów drogowych, podzielone będą na sześć skomunikowanych ze sobą odcinków. Pierwszy etap poprowadzi rowerzystów ze Stężycy do Gołubia, Szymbarka i Zgorzałego.
Etap drugi zostanie wybudowany w kierunku Żuromino – Borucino – Kamienica Szlachecka – Wygoda Łączyńska. Budowa całej 40 kilometrowej trasy ma potrwać kilka lat i będzie kosztować około 14 mln zł.
