Gmina Puck zapyta IPN o status pomnika w Starzyńskim Dworze – w kontekście obowiązującej już ustawy dekomunizacyjnej Mamy wątpliwości czy pomnik w Starzyńskim Dworze powinien zostać objęty ustawą dekomunizacyjną – mówił dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby wójt gminy Puck.
– Zwrócimy się do Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej z zapytaniem, jaki jest jego status – zapowiada wójt Tadeusz Puszkarczuk.
Tadeusz Puszkarczuk odniósł się do przepisów, które weszły w życie na początku września i dotyczą wyeliminowania z przestrzeni publicznej nazw kojarzących się z systemami totalitarnymi. Pomnik w Starzyńskim Dworze przedstawiający żołnierza Armii Czerwonej upamiętnia jeńców zamordowanych przez hitlerowców pod koniec drugiej wojny światowej. Pomnik odrestaurowano kilka lat temu, umieszczono też tablicę wyjaśniającą komu jest poświęcony.
