Gmina Gniewino otwarta na uchodźców z Bliskiego Wschodu
Gminy powinny przede wszystkim dbać o potrzeby socjalne swoich mieszkańców – wójt Stężycy komentuje gotowość wójta Gniewina do przyjęcia grupy uchodźców.
Najpierw powinniśmy zadbać o potrzeby mieszkańców Kaszub – mówi wójt gminy Stężyca w reakcji na deklarację wójta Gniewina. Włodarz z Nordy Zbigniew Walczak w liście do Ministra Administracji i Cyfryzacji wyraził chęć przyjęcia kilku rodzin z Bliskiego Wschodu, bo jego zdaniem łatwo się w gminie Gniewino zaaklimatyzują i znajdą pracę. Zdaniem Tomasza Brzoskowskiego przyjęcie uchodźców oznacza potężne wydatki dla gminy związane z przygotowaniem zaplecza socjalnego. Sprawie przyjrzał się nasz reporter Piotr Szyca.
Gmina Gniewino otwarta na uchodźców z Bliskiego Wschodu – chęć przyjęcia kilku rodzin zadeklarował wójt w liście do Ministra Administracji i Cyfryzacji.
„Już dziś zamieszkują u nas cudzoziemcy zatrudnieni na terenie Pomorskiej Specjalnej Strefy Ekonomicznej” – czytamy w piśmie. Uważam, że grupa kilkunastu uchodźców wobec 7 tysięcy 300 mieszkańców gminy nie będzie źródłem napięć społecznych, lecz stosunkowo szybko się zaaklimatyzuje – napisał w liście wójt Gniewina Zbigniew Walczak. Argumentuje, że w granicach gminy i w jej najbliższym sąsiedztwie funkcjonuje wiele zakładów przemysłowych, a znalezienie i podjęcie pracy ułatwi uchodźcom także niewielka odległość od aglomeracji trójmiejskiej.
Wójt Gniewina zadeklarował, że pozostaje w gotowości do dyspozycji Ministra Administracji i Cyfryzacji w celu przedyskutowania działań niezbędnych do realizacji inicjatywy.
