Generała Józefa Hallera wspominano na konferencji we Władysławowie
Prymas Tysiąclecia kardynał Stefan Wyszyński nazywał go „błękitnym sługą Maryi i zasłużonym synem narodu”. Taki też obraz generała Józefa Hallera wyłonił się na konferencji we Władysławowie.
Błękitny generał walczył, i to zwycięsko, ze wszystkimi polskimi wrogami: z Rosją carską, później z Niemcami, z Austrią, Ukraińcami i bolszewikami. A to przecież zaledwie fragment jego życia – wspominano na spotkaniu w mieście, które wiele mu zawdzięcza. – Władysławowo powstało z połączenia Wielkiej Wsi i powstałym po roku 1920 Hallerowem – przypomniał dyrektor Muzeum Ziemi Puckiej Mirosław Kuklik. Krewna generała prof. Maria Dzielska wspominała, jak w latach 50. ówczesne władze nie dopuściły do udziału Hallera w święcie na Jasnej Górze. Pamięć o generale pielęgnuje we Władysławowie „Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Hallerowa” działające z przerwami od prawie stu lat. – Działamy dla dzielnicy, ostatnio odnowiliśmy skwer przy pomniku Józefa Hallera postawionego tu także z naszej inicjatywy – mówi Karol Miller. Mieszczący się we Władysławowie dom generała Józefa Hallera jest oddziałem Muzeum Ziemi Puckiej. Dziś o godzinie 11:00 zostanie tam otwarta nowa wystawa stała – „Na letnisku u Hallera”.
