Gdyńskie szkolnictwo zawodowe nagrodzone
Gdyńskie szkolnictwo zawodowe nagrodzone przez Ministerstwo Gospodarki. Gdynia znalazła się wśród pięciu wyróżnionych powiatów, a Zespół Szkól Technicznych im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego wśród siedmiu nagrodzonych szkół.
Gdyński samorząd doceniono m.in. za szczególne osiągnięcia w promowaniu i realizacji kształcenia zawodowego na terenie powiatu.
– To bardzo ważne, by informować młodych ludzi o możliwościach jakie dają im różne ścieżki kariery – mówi wiceprezydent Gdyni Bartosz Bartoszewicz – zwracając przy tym uwagę że oraz częściej na rynku pracy brakuje osób o konkretnych kwalifikacjach i specjalizacjach.
Miasto jest właścicielem szkół zawodowych i to miasto kreuje politykę w zakresie ich prowadzenia – i dopasowywania kształcenia do lokalnego rynku pracy. W Gdyni można kształcić się w 25 zawodach w technikach i w 22 w zawodówkach.
