Gdyńskie Muzeum Motoryzacji kończy 10 lat
Z tej okazji od piątku do niedzieli można je zwiedzać bezpłatnie. Placówka powstała dzięki pasji gdyńskiego kolekcjonera Witolda Ciążkowskiego.
– Marzy nam się większa siedziba by jednocześnie wystawić wszystkie pojazdy – mówi właściciel muzeum Witold Ciążkowski.
W kolekcji jest 200 motocykli i 60 samochodów, jednak hala przy Żwirowej mieści zaledwie 40 eksponatów. Wszystkie są na chodzie, a na ulicach można je zobaczyć m.in. podczas Gdyńskiej Parady Niepodległości. Najnowsze nabytki to Rolls-Royce z 1939 roku i stuletni Chevrolet. Rodzina Ciążkowskich prowadzi w muzeum zajęcia dla przedszkolaków, a od ubiegłego roku w ramach grantu od miasta także motoryzacyjne lekcje w szkołach. Dla zwiedzających z okazji 10 urodzin przygotowaliśmy konkurs – zapowiada Karol Ciążkowski. Gdyńskie Muzeum Motoryzacji przy ulicy Żwirowej można będzie zwiedzać bezpłatnie od 20 do 22 października – w godzinach 09:00 – 17:00.
