Gdyńskie kąpieliska przygotowane do sezonu
Babie Doły, Śródmieście, Redłowo i Orłowo zostaną otwarte jutro i będą działać do końca sierpnia. Nad bezpieczeństwem wszystkich odpoczywających na plaży w Gdyni czuwać będzie 37 ratowników.
Do ich dyspozycji będzie pięć łodzi ratowniczych, dwa pojazdy ATV i skuter ratowniczy z platformą. W każdym z czterech kąpielisk będzie też punkt pomocy doraźnej, gdzie stały dyżur będzie pełnić ratownik medyczny. Wszystkie gdyńskie kąpieliska zapewniają dostęp do toalet, na plaży w Śródmieściu są też natryski. Jest tam także dostępna tzw. „amfibia” – czyli wózek kąpielowy umożliwiający osobom niepełnosprawnym transport po piasku i bezpieczne wjechanie w wody zatoki. By z niego skorzystać wystarczy rano zadzwonić do starszego ratownika. Numer opublikowano m.in. na stronie miejskiego samorządu gdynia.pl.
Wraz z rozpoczęciem sezonu na dwóch plażach w Gdyni na maszt wciągnięte zostaną błękitne flagi. Będą to plaże: Śródmieście i Marina Gdynia, które otrzymały prestiżowy certyfikat przyznawany za dbanie o jakość wody, ekologię, bezpieczeństwo i jakość usług.
