Gdynia zapowiada dalszą walkę o uruchomienie lotniska
Komisja Europejska odwołała się od korzystnego dla Gdyni wyroku Sądu Unii Europejskiej w sprawie lotniska Gdynia-Kosakowo. Miejski samorząd zapowiada dalszą walkę o utworzenie portu lotniczego.
Trwa ona już cztery lata – odkąd Komisja Europejska uznała, że 90 mln zł przekazane przez Gdynię i Kosakowo spółce Port Lotniczy to niedozwolona pomoc publiczna. Skutkiem była upadłość tejże spółki i odwołanie do Sądu Unii Europejskiej w Luksemburgu. Ten przyznał rację miastu i stwierdził nieważność decyzji Komisji Europejskiej. Od korzystnego dla Gdyni wyroku Komisja właśnie się odwołała. „Teraz dopuszczalność odwołania zbada Trybunał Sprawiedliwości” – poinformowano na miejskim portalu gdynia.pl. Podkreślono tam, że samorząd jest pewny swoich racji, choć szkoda upływającego czasu. Proces może potrwać kolejnych kilka lat. Mimo tego Gdynia będzie kontynuować rozpoczęte z Komisją Europejską negocjacje zmierzające do uzyskania roboczego porozumienia dla jak najszybszego uruchomienia lotniska.
