GDYNIA: Finał konkursu Policjant Roku Ruchu Drogowego
Policjanci kierują ruchem w centrum Gdyni – to nie awaria sygnalizacji świetlnej, a część rywalizacji która ma wyłonić Policjanta Roku Ruchu Drogowego. W Gdyni spotyka się dzisiaj elita funkcjonariuszy drogówki na finale ogólnopolskiego konkursu. W dwóch konkurencjach zmierzy się 30 mundurowych. Pierwsza z nich to kierowanie ruchem na jednym z najważniejszych skrzyżowań w mieście i to w godzinach szczytu. – Policjanci rozpoczęli rywalizację o godzinie 09:00 na przecięciu ulic Świętojańskiej i 10 Lutego, każdy przez kilkanaście minut ręcznie pokieruje strumieniami aut – wyjaśniał rzecznik policji z Gdyni Michał Rusak. Około godziny 15.00, policjanci przeniosą się na parking obok Akwarium Gdyńskiego, by powalczyć w drugiej konkurencji – jeździe sprawnościowej motocyklem służbowym. Na specjalnie zbudowanym torze przeszkód zawodnicy zmierzą się w slalomie i na ruchomej równoważni.
