Gdynia czyni starania o budowę trzeciego przystanku PKM, ruszyły też prace projektowe węzła integracyjnego Karwiny.
– Chcielibyśmy też dołożyć do budowy przystanku na Wzgórzu św. Maksymiliana, ale jego los jest na razie niesprecyzowany – mówił dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby wiceprezydent Gdyni Marek Stępa.
W mieście ruszyły właśnie przygotowania do budowy dwóch przystanków Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej – na Karwinach blisko ulicy Wielkopolskiej oraz w pobliżu stadionu miejskiego. Mają być gotowe do lipca przyszłego roku, będą kosztować ponad 25 mln złotych, z czego 4 i pół miliona z budżetu Gdyni. Gdynia przygotowuje się też do swojej inwestycji związanej z przystankiem PKM na Karwinach. Ruszyły prace projektowe węzła integracyjnego, który ma tam spiąć transport publiczny, ruch samochodowy, działania na rzecz rowerzystów i pieszych. To ogromne przedsięwzięcie, ma być realizowane przy hojnym finansowaniu ze środków unijnych w ramach Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych.
