Gdańscy policjanci zatrzymali przemytników dostarczających narkotyki z Holandii do Trójmiasta. Wszystkim czterem osobom postawiono już zarzuty. Dwóch mężczyzn złapano na gorącym uczynku – policjanci ujęli ich tuż po zakończonej transakcji. Jedną z zatrzymanych osób był organizator całego procederu. Zabezpieczono też 5 kg amfetaminy, która miała trafić na polski rynek. Jej czarnorynkowa wartość to kilkaset tysięcy złotych. Następnego dnia ujęto kolejne dwie osoby – kobietę i mężczyznę, którzy narkotyki przechowywali w swoim mieszkaniu. Znaleziono tam 40 gramów kokainy, 60 gramów amfetaminy oraz 550 tabletek extasy o łącznej wartości 20-u tysięcy złotych. Dwóm zatrzymanym postawiono zarzut przemytu znacznej ilości narkotyków – grozi im kara do 15-u lat więzienia, zostali tymczasowo aresztowani. Pozostałej dwójce zarzuca się m.in. uczestnictwo w obrocie znaczną ilością narkotyków, za co mogą trafić do więzienia na 12 lat. Wobec nich zastosowano dozory policyjne. Łącznie, w ramach prowadzonego w tej sprawie od roku postępowania, zatrzymano już dziewięć osób i zabezpieczono narkotyki warte blisko milion złotych.
