Fundacja księdza Jana Kaczkowskiego rozpoczyna działalność
W drugą rocznicę śmierci ks. Jana Kaczkowskiego swoją działalność rozpoczyna Fundacja jego imienia. Jej celem jest wypracowanie oraz wprowadzenie nowych standardów w relacjach pacjent – lekarz oraz ochrona i upowszechnianie spuścizny księdza Jana.
Fundacja w swoich działaniach będzie również wspierać puckie Hospicjum pw. św. Ojca Pio oraz szerzyć idee medycyny paliatywnej i wolontariatu. Chcemy, żeby spotkanie z księdzem Janem Kaczkowskim wciąż było możliwe i nadal trwało. – czytamy na stronie internetowej fundacji. Ksiądz Kaczkowski zmarł 28 marca 2016 roku. Przez kilka lat zmagał się z nowotworem mózgu. Z okazji rocznicy śmierci założyciela puckiego hospicjum oraz inauguracji działalności Fundacji jego imienia w Sopocie dzisiaj o godzinie 18.00 odbędzie się Msza święta w kościele św. Jerzego, a po niej koncert „Pamiętamy o ks. Janie Kaczkowskim”.
