Film o Gdyni i jego mieszkańcach, który powstał z amatorskich zdjęć i taśm jest już dostępny w internecie. „Gdynia. Moje miasto” to dokument, który powstał dzięki gdynianom.
Zbiórkę amatorskich materiałów filmowych Gdyńska Szkoła Filmowa ogłosiła w 2016 roku. Wszystko z okazji 90. urodzin miasta. Odzew mieszkańców był spory, mówi Joanna Zielińska, przewodnicząca Rady Miasta Gdynia. Najstarsze ujęcia pochodzą z lat 50. ubiegłego stulecia. Najnowsze dotyczą wydarzeń 1989 roku. Obraz opatrzono komentarzem lektorskim i muzyką. Film swoją premierę miał w lutym 2018 roku. Można go też było zobaczyć podczas tegorocznego Festiwalu Polskich Filmów Fabularnych. Miasto udostępniło go teraz na swojej stronie internetowej. Można go obejrzeć na gdynia.pl
