Figle Gnieżdżewskich Gburów już w tę sobotę
Nad stawem w Gnieżdżewie stanęła już chatka, przed którą w sobotę odbędzie się sąd nad węgorzem. Mieszkańcy wsi w gminie Puck po raz szósty zapraszają na festyn, podczas którego wystawią wybrane Figle Gnieżdżewskich Gburów.
Przedstawienia powstają na podstawie książki Jana Patoka, w której humorystyczny ale mało pochlebny sposób przedstawił mieszkańców Gnieżdżewa. – W tym roku wracamy do pierwszej i chyba najbardziej znanej opowieści o topieniu węgorza – mówi inicjatorka przedsięwzięcia Maria Szefka, która jest sołtysem Gnieżdżewa. To historia, w której mieszkańcy wsi chcieli hodować ryby w miejscowym stawie, więc kupili beczkę solonych śledzi i wsypali je do stawu. Najstraszniejszą karą, jaką mieszkańcy Gnieżdżewa potrafili wymyślić dla węgorza, było utopienie. Odegraniem tej opowieści zapoczątkowano cykl corocznych festynów, które stały się wakacyjną atrakcją wioski i co roku przyciągają tłumy. Najbliższy już w tę sobotę rozpocznie się przedstawieniem o godzinie 16:00 przy stawie w Gnieżdżewie. Godzinę później festyn przy ulicy Bocznej z konkursami, kaszubską muzyką i jedzeniem przygotowanym przez Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich.
