Festiwal mniejszości etnicznych „Diversity Festival” w Gdańsku
Kaszuby po raz pierwszy będą gospodarzem młodzieżowego festiwalu mniejszości etnicznych z całej Europy „Diversity Festival”. Kilkudniowe spotkanie w sierpniu organizuje Klub Studencki Pomorania.
– Spotkanie odbędzie się pod hasłem „Celebrowanie pluralizmu” – zapowiada prezes Klubu Pomorania, Mateusz Łącki.
Wezmą w nim udział m.in. Fryzowie z Holandii, Serbołużyczanie z Niemiec, a także Bretończycy z Francji i mniejszość niemiecka z Rosji. Uczestnicy Festiwalu zaprezentują w Gdańsku swój język i kulturę mniejszościową, a także będą dyskutowali o sposobach rozwoju i ochrony praw mniejszości językowych i narodowych. „Diversity Festival” odbędzie się w Gdańsku w dniach od 6 do 13 sierpnia. Uczestnicy będą również promowali inicjatywę obywatelską o nazwie Minority SafePack, której celem jest zebranie miliona podpisów pod petycją w obronie praw mniejszości językowych i narodowych w Europie.
