Ekofabrykę chce wybudować Zakład Usług Komunalnych z Wejherowa
Największe w Polsce centrum składowania odpadów do ponownego wykorzystania – Ekofabrykę – chce wybudować Zakład Usług Komunalnych z Wejherowa. Spółka wystąpi o unijne środki na realizację inwestycji.
– Dzisiaj notujemy wzrost ilości posegregowanych śmieci o 2 procent rocznie, za rok ma to być pięć razy więcej – tłumaczy prezes Wejherowskiego ZUK Roman Czerwiński.
Ekofabryka ma zmienić świadomość ekologiczną mieszkańców Wejherowa, co ma z kolei pozwolić osiągnąć unijne standardy. Ekofabryka ma być zlokalizowana przy ulicy Przemysłowej, w zabytkowym budynku dawnego przedsiębiorstwa drzewnego. Powstanie tam centrum, które ma edukować dzieci i młodzież w zakresie segregacji śmieci, oraz 9 centrów zbiórki odpadów. Najważniejszym elementem Ekofabryki będą magazyny, w których odpady będą naprawiane. Inwestycja ma kosztować 12 milionów złotych, blisko 7 milionów wejherowski Zakład Usług Komunalnych chce uzyskać z funduszy europejskich.
