Eko Dolina w Łężycach mniej uciążliwa dla mieszkańców
Eko Dolina w Łężycach ma być mniej uciążliwa dla mieszkańców. Właśnie zakończyła się budowa systemu odgazowania składowiska odpadów co ma zminimalizować emisję brzydkich zapachów.
Na fetor skarżyli się wielokrotnie, także w pismach kierowanych do mediów, mieszkańcy Łężyc, niektórych dzielnic Rumi i Gdyni. Teraz będzie tam lżej oddychać dzięki nowym studniom odgazowującym oraz nowej instalacji systemu nawadniania. Skorzysta też zakład utylizacji odpadów, bo z uzyskanego w ten sposób biogazu za pomocą generatorów o mocy 2 megawatów produkowana jest energia elektryczna. Podczas realizacji inwestycji nieprzyjemny zapach mógł się nasilić, ale był tylko stan przejściowy. Za to efekty już można poczuć, przekonuje prezes Ekodoliny Cezary Jakubowski. Inwestycja kosztowała 1 mln 800 tysięcy zł.
