Dzisiaj w Gdyni otworzą „Wyspę książek”
W Gdyni przy wejściu na plażę otwarta zostanie dziś „Wyspa książek”. To miejsce gdzie w środy i piątki do końca wakacji będzie można wymieniać się książkami.
„Wyspę książek” uruchamia Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna w Gdyni przy wejściu nr 6 w Śródmieściu. Pomysł oparty jest o dość popularny bookcrossing i podpatrzony na europejskich plażach. Wypożyczoną książkę można zabrać na spacer po bulwarze Nadmorskim, Skwerze Kościuszki czy też do domu. Nie obowiązują żadne procedury: nie trzeba się rejestrować, zapisywać, legitymować ani płacić. Przychodzimy, bierzemy książkę i czytamy. W dobrym zwyczaju jest odniesienie jej na miejsce, ewentualnie przyniesienie na wymianę innej.
W zbiorze znajdzie się też miejsce na czasopisma i książki dla dzieci. „Startowa” baza książek jest obszerna, a pozycje pochodzą z darów przekazanych gdyńskiej bibliotece przez czytelników. Punkt będzie działał w środy od 11:00 do 15:00, w piątki od 14:00 do 18:00. Umiejscowiono go przy plaży Śródmieście – przy Muzeum Marynarki Wojennej, które włączyło się do współpracy.
