Dzisiaj świętujemy Międzynarodowy Dzien Języka Ojczystego
Godom po kaszebsku e jem z tego buszno – tak w internecie język kaszubski promuje przewodniczka turystyczna Beata Kąkol ze Stężycy. Jednocześnie zachęca do szczególnego świętowania przypadającego dzisiaj Międzynarodowego Dnia Języka Ojczystego.Święto ustanowione w 1999 roku przez UNESCO – ma zwracać uwagę na różnorodność językową i potrzebę wielojęzycznej edukacji. To dobry dzień do promocji kaszubskiego – który jest jedynym językiem regionalnym w Polsce. Według ostatniego spisu powszechnego w tym języku mówi 108 tysięcy osób. Dodatkowo w szkołach ponad 17 tysięcy dzieci uczy się naszej rodnej mowy. Najważniejsze żebyśmy mówili w tym języku w domu – podkreśla Beata Kąkol.
