Dzisiaj Swiãto Kaszëbsczi Fanë
Dzisiaj w wielu miejscowościach Kaszub powiewają czarno-żółte flagi. W ten sposób samorządy i mieszkańcy włączają się w obchody Święta Flagi Kaszubskiej.
– Dzisiaj flagi kaszubskie pojawiły się między innymi na ulicach Kościerzyny – mówi sekretarz miasta Sławomir Szkobel.
Świętowany od pięciu lat dzień przypomina pierwsze publiczne i oficjalne wywieszenie stanicy kaszubskiej – było to w Kartuzach 18 sierpnia 1929 roku podczas zjazdu założycielskiego Zrzeszenia Regionalnego Kaszubów. Czarno – żółta flaga od tego momentu stała się symbolem więzi łączących Kaszubów i wyrazem ich tożsamości. Barwy flagi kaszubskiej zaczerpnięto z naszego herbu, którym jest czarny gryf na żółtym tle.
