Dzisiaj rozpoczyna się na Pomorzu akcja szczepienia lisów. Leśnicy proszą o niewchodzenie do lasów przez najbliższe 3 tygodnie.
Szczepienie odbędzie się z samolotów – drogą zrzutów przynęt ze szczepionką przeciw wściekliźnie. W przypadku kontaktu ludzi z przynętą należy zgłosić się do lekarza. Najbardziej należy uważać na oczy, usta i nos a także otwarte rany. Podobnie po kontakcie zwierząt domowych z przynętą, należy zgłosić się do lekarza weterynarii. Leśnicy apelują aby przez najbliższe 3 tygodnie nie wchodzić do lasów a także trzymać psy na uwięzi. Akcja szczepień potrwa do 6 października.
