Dziś zostanie otwarte Centrum Kardiologiczne
W Gdyni zostanie dziś otwarte Centrum Kardiologiczne. Powstało w Szpitalu Św. Wincentego a Paulo poprzez połączenie oddziałów kardiologicznych z obu gdyńskich szpitali.
Dzięki dotacji z Urzędu Marszałkowskiego Województwa Pomorskiego w kwocie niecałych dwóch i pół mln zł oddane zostanie do użytku całkowicie wyremontowane piętro z 23 łóżkami, klimatyzowanymi dwuosobowymi salami chorych z łazienkami, łóżka z funkcjami R-KO wraz z szafkami przyłóżkowymi, nowoczesną 8-osobową salę intensywnego nadzoru kardiologicznego, przestrzenny punkt przyjęć oraz zaplecze socjalne. Dzięki tym środkom zakupiono również sprzęt medyczny, m.in. defibrylatory, pompy infuzyjne, macerator, aparaty do mierzenia ciśnienia.
Powstanie kardiologii inwazyjnej i zachowawczej w jednym miejscu ma zapewnić kompleksowość, interdyscyplinarność i bezpieczeństwo pacjenta, a przede wszystkim szybkość diagnostyczną. Uroczyste otwarcie Gdyńskiego Centrum Kardiologicznego w Szpitalu Św. Wincentego a Paulo zaplanowano na godzinę 14:00.
