Dziki problem w Rumi – władze miasta proszą o pomoc myśliwych
Nie boją się ludzi i podchodzą coraz bliżej domostw – mowa o dzikach, które coraz częściej pojawiają się na obrzeżach miast. W Rumi problem stał się na tyle palący, że władze miasta poprosiły o pomoc koła łowieckie.
– W tym okresie pojawiają się warchlaki, więc ich matki mogą być agresywne – ostrzega Katarzyna Bielińska z Urzędu Miasta w Rumi.
Chodzi przede wszystkim o okolice Szmelty i Zagórza, gdzie zwierzęta pojawiają się najczęściej. Wabione łatwym do zdobycia pokarmem dziki chętnie wychodzą z lasu, niszcząc zieleń i blokując drogi. Problem szczególnie narasta latem, kiedy na obrzeżach miasta pojawia się duża ilość resztek jedzenia np. po rodzinnym grillowaniu. Dlatego do końca miesiąca Koło Łowieckie „Głuszec” z Wejherowa, przy współpracy z rumskim magistratem, rozpocznie akcję wywabiania zwierząt do lasu. Będzie ona polegać na umieszczeniu w głębi lasu pokarmu, przyzwyczajając zwierzęta do poszukiwania go tam w przyszłości.
