Dzienny Dom Opieki Medycznej w Gdańsku otwarty. Utworzyła go gdańska Caritas przy wsparciu Ministerstwa Zdrowia.
Placówka mieści się w siedzibie Caritasu przy Fromborskiej 24, jednorazowo opieką może tam być objętych od 10 do 15 osób. Mają to być osoby, które były hospitalizowane i których stan zdrowia wymaga wzmożonej opieki specjalistów i pielęgniarek. Fachowa opieka i rehabilitacja ma im pomóc wrócić do samodzielnego funkcjonowania – opisywał ksiądz Janusz Steć z Caritas archidiecezji gdańskiej. Dzienny Dom Opieki Medycznej w Gdańsku jest otwarty w dni powszednie, pacjentów przyjmuje bezpłatnie.
