Dzienny Dom Opieki Medycznej powstał w Gdańsku
W Gdańsku powstał Dzienny Dom Opieki Medycznej – przeznaczony głównie dla seniorów. Placówkę utworzyła Gdańska Caritas wspólnie z ministerstwem zdrowia.
– Opiekę znajdą w niej osoby, które przez ostatni rok były hospitalizowane bądź wychodzą ze szpitala – opisuje szef Caritas archidiecezji gdańskiej ks. Janusz Steć.
Placówka będzie otwarta w dni powszednie w godzinach 07:00 – 17:00. Chorzy będą pod opieką lekarzy i pielęgniarek, mogą liczyć m.in. na pomoc geriatry, psychologa, dietetyka i rehabilitanta. Dzienny Dom Opieki Medycznej zacznie działać z początkiem sierpnia, powstał w siedzibie gdańskiej Caritas przy Fromborskiej 24. Jednorazowo opiekę znajdzie tam do 15 osób.
