Dzień Jedności Kaszubów w Kosakowie | 18.03
18 marca spotkajmy się w Kosakowie na święcie kaszubskim upamiętniającym pierwszą pisemną adnotację o Kaszubach w bulli papieża Grzegorza IX. 9 marca 1238 papież Grzegorz IX zatytułował szczecińskiego księcia „księciem Kaszub”. Była to pierwsza historyczna wzmianka o Kaszubach. Pierwszy w historii Dzień Jedności Kaszubów odbył się w 2004 roku w Gdańsku.
W tym roku zapraszamy do Kosakowa, gdzie w nowym obiekcie, w hali sportowej odbędą się główne uroczystości i próba bicia rekordu w jednoczesnej grze na akordeonach, natomiast w hali sportowej przy SP w Mostach rozegrany zostanie turniej gry karcianej Baśki. Obchodom towarzyszyć będą liczne kiermasze twórców ludowych, wystawy rękodzieła, stoiska Kół Gospodyń Wiejskich, występy zespołów lokalnych. Na scenie wystąpi również zespół Fucus i Weronika Korthals.
W 2006 roku wzbogacono imprezę wspólnym muzykowaniem akordeonistów pochodzących nie tylko z Pomorza. Corocznie podczas obchodów podejmowana jest próba pobicia rekordu w jednoczesnej grze na akordeonach. Zawsze do gry służą akordeonowe aranżacje znanych kaszubskich melodii.
Organizatorami wydarzenia jest lokalny oddział Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego, Gmina Kosakowo, Kosakowskie Centrum Kultury, Dyrektor Zespołu Szkoły Podstawowej i Oddziałów Gimnazjalnych w Pogórzu, Dyrektor Zespołu Szkolno -Przedszkolnego w Mostach, Dyrektor PUK PEKO.
