– Strażacy otrzymali zawiadomienie o niewielkim pożarze, dopiero po przyjeździe okazało się, że w budynku były setki kilogramów materiałów pirotechnicznych. Ranny został jeden ze strażaków – opowiada komendant z Kościerzyny Tomasz Klinkosz.
Strażak ranny podczas wybuchu materiałów pirotechnicznych w Dziemianach czuje się już lepiej, jednak wciąż przebywa w kościerskim szpitalu. Było o włos od tragedii – mówi dzisiaj komendant Powiatowej Straży Pożarnej w Kościerzynie. Przypomnę, że do eksplozji doszło w sobotę w budynku gospodarczym na jednej z posesji. Policja już zatrzymała 27-latka, który był w budynku przed pożarem. To on prawdopodobnie przelewał chemikalia, od których doszło do samozapłonu. W wyniku wybuchu uszkodzonych zostało również kilkanaście okolicznych budynków. Straty szacowane są na około pół miliona złotych.
