Duże zmiany w Ośrodku Kultury Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej
Przy Ośrodku Kultury Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej w Gdyni dalej będzie działała Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna nr 15. Decyzję podjęto po szerokich konsultacjach społecznych z mieszkańcami dzielnicy Kamienna Góra. Ośrodek wraz biblioteką w nowej odsłonie zaczną działać od września tego roku.
– Jednak po szerokich konsultacjach wypracowano nową formułę, która zapewni jednocześnie działanie biblioteki oraz prowadzenie efektywniejszych działań kulturalnych w ramach ośrodka – mówi szef gdyńskiego oddziału Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego Andrzej Bussler.
Instytucje już od dawna prowadzą działalność w budynku przy alei Marszałka Piłsudskiego 18 w Gdyni. 5 miesięcy temu władze miasta zdecydowały o przekazaniu lokalu wyłącznie na potrzeby Kaszubów, a biblioteka miała być połączona z filią nr 10. W tworzeniu oferty Ośrodka gdyńscy Kaszubi chcą współpracować z fundacją Fly, drużyną pożarniczą imienia ks. Muchowskiego, portalem mlodagdynia.pl oraz Akademią Kształcenia Zawodowego. – Największym naszym atutem jest bogaty księgozbiór regionalny – dodaje Andrzej Bussler. W budynku Ośrodka i biblioteki planowane są prace remontowe, które zakończą się do września.
