Duże zainteresowanie pracą w szkole w gdańskich Kokoszkach
Duże zainteresowanie nauczycieli pracą w szkole w gdańskich Kokoszkach – którą miasto powierzyło puckiej Fundacji Pozytywne Inicjatywy. Było 12 chętnych na jedno miejsce w gronie nauczycielskim. O sprawie było głośno w lutym, głównie za sprawą protestów Związku Nauczycielstwa Polskiego – po tym jak samorząd miasta Gdańska przekazał prowadzenie nowo wybudowanej podstawówki wybranej w przetargu małej organizacji z Pucka. Ta decyzja oznaczała bowiem dla przyszłych pracowników placówki utratę przywilejów gwarantowanych Kartą Nauczyciela. Szkoła powinna być dla uczniów a nie dla nauczycieli – mówi prezes Pozytywnych Inicjatyw Arkadiusz Gawrych i podkreśla, że z rekrutacją odpowiedniego grona pedagogów nie było problemu. Z pół tysiąca chętnych wybrano już 40 osobowe grono pedagogiczne. Działań fundacji nie ogranicza Karta Nauczyciela co przyniesie wymierne oszczędności – a te przełożą się na dodatkowe zajęcia dla dzieci. Podstawówka będzie też współpracować z Polską Akcją Humanitarną i Pomorską Specjalną Strefę Ekonomiczną co spodobało się rodzicom – którzy tłumnie zapisują do niej swoje pociechy. Nauka w szkole w Kokoszkach będzie bezpłatna, to nowy obiekt z halą gimnastyczną i aulą, w przyszłym roku do użytku zostanie tam też oddany basen. Fundacja Pozytywne Inicjatywy będzie ją prowadzić przez sześć lat. Nabór potrwa do końca sierpnia, w tym roku – wyjątkowo – przyjmowani są wszyscy chętni, w następnym – będą tylko dzieci z obwodu, w którym placówka się znajduje.
