Do portu zawitają okręty wojenne z całego świata
Do Gdyni zawitają okręty wojenne z całego świata – w ramach operacji BALTOPS 2015. Niektóre z nich będzie można zwiedzać.
– Naszym celem jest przećwiczenie wspólnych taktyk, a przy okazji chcemy pokazać okręty mieszkańcom Trójmiasta – mówi oficer prasowy 3 flotylli, kpt. Przemysław Płonecki.
Gdynia jest gospodarzem portowej fazy rozpoczynającej ćwiczenia okrętów na Bałtyku. Do portu zawita rekordowa w historii manewrów liczba – ponad 40 jednostek z 15 państw. Zwiedzający będą mogli podziwiać 9 polskich jednostek, m. in. okręt podwodny ORP Kondor, niszczyciel min ORP Mewa i trałowce, a także okręty amerykańskie, brytyjskie, holenderskie czy niemieckie. W ćwiczeniach udział wezmą również floty spoza NATO: szwedzka, fińska i gruzińska. – Oglądać będzie można prawdopodobnie także wnętrza statków, ale o tym zadecydują poszczególni kapitanowie – informuje kpt. Płonecki. Okręty będzie można oglądać w Porcie Wojennym na Oksywiu w sobotę od godz 14:00 do 16:00 i w Basenie Prezydenckim w sobotę i niedzielę od godz 9:00 do 20:00.
