W gminie Kartuzy sprawdzają czy mieszkańcy dobrze segregują śmieci. Tam gdzie stwierdzono nieprawidłowości odpady nie są odbierane, na pojemnik trafia za to żółta kartka.
– Niestety mieszkańcy coraz częściej idą na łatwiznę, co odbija się na budżecie gminy – mówi burmistrz Kartuz Grzegorz Gołuński.
Takich upomnień wystawiono kilkadziesiąt jedynie na czterech ulicach Kiełpina. Najczęściej do odpadów zmieszanych trafiały śmieci z żółtego pojemnika, czyli plastikowe butelki i opakowania oraz oraz odpady budowlane jak styropian i gruz, które powinny być dostarczane do Punktu Selektywnej Zbiórki. Mieszkańcom, którzy będą kolekcjonować żółte kartki i nie zmienią sposobu segregowania śmieci, gmina zmieni sposób naliczania opłaty jak za odpady niesegregowane.
