Czekają na propozycje artystów-rzeźbiarzy na pomnik Polski Morskiej
W Gdyni czekają na propozycje artystów – rzeźbiarzy na pomnik Polski Morskiej. Projekty można składa do 4 lipca.
Pomnik ma stanąć na Skwerze Kościuszki. Do 25 lat jest tam tablica upamiętniająca polskich marynarzy, którzy zginęli podczas II wojny światowej – odbywają się przy niej obchody najważniejszych świąt i wydarzeń związanych z Marynarką Wojenną. Organizatorzy konkursu na projekt pomnika chcą, by praca była estetyczna i wpisywała się w otoczenie, z którego na co dzień korzystają nie tylko mieszkańcy, ale również turyści. A ci nie do końca wiedzą co upamiętnia Płyta Marynarza Polskiego. Pomnik ma to zmienić.
Termin nadsyłania prac upływa 4 lipca bieżącego roku. Można je również składać osobiście w godzinach 10:00 – 15:00 w X Liceum Ogólnokształcącym im. Gdyńskich Nauczycieli, Bohaterów II Wojny Światowej. Zwycięzca konkursu otrzyma 30 tysięcy złotych. Według planów pomnik Polski Morskiej ma stanąć w 2018 roku.
