Cyfrowe oko na Gdynię – z kamer miejskiego monitoringu
W Gdyni w Miejskim Centrum Zarządzania Kryzysowego odebrano zmodernizowany system monitoringu. Dziewięć kamer analogowych wymieniono na urządzenia full HD.
Dodatkowo zamontowano dwie kamery 360-stopniowe i jedną panoramiczną. System monitoringu w Gdyni powstał w 2001 roku. Wgląd do niego ma straż miejska, straż pożarna i policja. W tej chwili bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców pilnuje 141 kamer. Nowe urządzenia poprzez zwiększoną rozdzielczość i szerszy kąt widzenia mają lepsze parametry obrazu. Analogowe wymieniono na cyfrowe przy skrzyżowaniu Armii Krajowej z Sędzickiego, na placu Konstytucji i na bulwarze Nadmorskim. Dodatkowe kamery z 360-stopniowym kątem rejestracji obrazu zainstalowano przy skrzyżowaniu ulicy Świętojańskiej ze skwerem Kościuszki oraz alei Piłsudskiego ze Świętojańską – podano na gdynia.pl. Natomiast kamerę panoramiczną zainstalowano na dachu InfoBoxu. Ma ona czterokrotnie wyższą rozdzielczość niż standardowe kamery full HD. Będzie używana przede wszystkim do monitorowania imprez masowych, których w tej okolicy nie brakuje.
