Coraz bliżej otwarcia muzeum ofiar Piaśnicy w Wejherowie
Na kulturalnej mapie Wejherowa pojawi się nowe muzeum. Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego wydało decyzję w sprawie utworzenia placówki upamiętniającej ofiary zbrodni w Piaśnicy.
– Zbiory obejmować będą także i inne tragiczne wydarzenia, jakie miały miejsce na pomorzu podczas drugiej wojny światowej – mówi Marcin Drewa ze Stowarzyszenia Rodzina Piaśnicka.
O utworzenie muzeum upamiętniającego hitlerowskie mordy w piaśnickich lasach Stowarzyszenie Rodzina Piaśnicka ubiegało się od wielu lat. Starania zaowocowały pozytywną decyzją wiceministra kultury i dziedzictwa narodowego Jarosława Sellina. Placówka zlokalizowana będzie w Wejherowie przy ulicy Ofiar Piaśnicy, w Villi Musica wybudowanej przez zasłużonego wejherowianina i pierwszego po 1920 roku przewodniczącego rady miejskiej Franciszka Panka.
