Coraz bliżej budowy wieży widokowej w Wejherowie
Na wczorajszej sesji rady miasta zabezpieczony został budżet potrzebny na sporządzenie niezbędnej dokumentacji.
Na lokalizację wieży miejski konserwator zabytków wskazał Wzgórze Wolności, a na jej szczyt miałaby prowadzić kolejka linowa ruszająca spod Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko Pomorskiej. Według prezydenta Wejherowa Krzysztofa Hildebrandta taka inwestycja poszerzyłaby atrakcyjność turystyczną miasta także poza sezonem. Na wykonanie dokumentacji technicznej radni zabezpieczyli w miejskim budżecie ponad 1 milion 200 tysięcy złotych. Pozwoli ona na sięgnięcie po środki zewnętrzne, które są warunkiem niezbędnym do realizacji tej inwestycji. Według wstępnych szacunków koszt budowy w Wejherowie wieży wraz z kolejką to co najmniej 20 milionów złotych.
