Co ósmy Polak na etacie pracował za płacę minimalną – stwierdził Główny Urząd Statystyczny po przeanalizowaniu tego zjawiska w całej gospodarce. Okazuje się, że dotychczasowe dane na ten temat były mocno niedoszacowane. W 2012 roku 1 mln 300 tysięcy Polaków dostawało pensję podstawową nie wyższą niż 1500 zł brutto. Było ich aż dwa razy więcej, niż do tej pory szacowali eksperci – informuje „Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” powołując się na GUS. Dotychczas pewne było jedynie to, że minimalną pensję otrzymuje ok. 358 tys. pracowników firm zatrudniających ponad dziewięć osób. Z najnowszej analizy danych wynika, że w mikroprzedsiębiorstwach płacą minimalną musiało się zadowolić aż trzy czwarte zatrudnionych na podstawie umowy o pracę – to ponad 940 tysięcy osób. Od początku stycznia bieżącego roku minimalne wynagrodzenie wynosi 1 tys. 680 zł brutto, czyli 1 tys 237 zł netto. Oznacza to, że pensja pracownika zatrudnionego w pełnym wymiarze czasu nie może być niższa od tej kwoty. Pozostała część wynagrodzenia wypłacana jest np. na podstawie umowy o dzieło.
